After reaching over 1,000 messages in various languages from around the world selling a virus here and a spam there, I chose to block the comment page. I ended up erasing everything, even the comments from guitar fanatics and  popular well known players from the past. Many historians and guitarists have contacted this last year and I figure I will try to post the comment page again. SO...........

Welcome. I hope you enjoyed this site. If you want to leave a comment, you can say up to 160 characters. I'd like to hear from you!

It is fun to read your posts, but I do read these before they post. Unfortunately if you are advertising on this page, I will most likely delete it. Sometimes it may take a litte while to post what you wrote, but don't worry, I will post it. Thanks, I love hearing great comments!!!!!

If you want to contact me directly with any questions about your prewar Gibson items, please go to contact me.  PLEASE NOTE, if you try to contact me with a question(please no questions about how much you can get for your guitar!), I am unable to respond to you via this page. Once again, click the 'contact me' tab, and leave a message with your current email address. This page is for comments on Gibson, guitars, this site, etc....

If you are selling Viagra, trying to post a personal sale/website, or commenting on worldly issues, there are plenty of blogs for that and your comment maynot post.

Thanks to everyone who has left a good wholesome statement. Please keep the comments coming, I appreciate the feedback!

Great website! I picked up a Gibson V35 at an auction, cheap since it was in pieces, nothing serious. I had a reputable violin guy fix it and I play it some. The best thing about it is the beautiful wood, especially the back. I was just looking for history on Gibson Violins and ended up here, for the best info. Thanks. Terry Oberg, CA

Fantastic site - your collection and its documentation is impressive. Although I have several Valco, Magna, and Martin pieces, my Gibsons are all from the 50s & 60s. I also have some USA Epiphone amps and guitars. Some from Gibson Kalamazoo and some earlier.

I have a copy of a poster from probably the mid 30's showing all of Gibson's banjo line. I could try to make a copy of it for your website. I'm nearby, in Walnut Creek, CA
