1933/'34 Prewar Gibson Letter Correspondance
The following letters are correspondance between a gentleman 'shopping' for a guitar for himself in 1934. As is common today, when one shows interest in a company's product and writes for more information, then the possibility of receiving product brochures and letters are likely. Typically, we receive mostly electronic ads today, but several years ago, one would receive a large amount of tempting catalogs, letters and brochures in the mail.
Below is a great example of Gibson's attempt to 'rope-in' a customer. Note last letter to the customer....it is not from Gibson! This is a wonderful piece of history!
